My 2019 Knitting Journey
2019 was a groundbreaking year in my knitting journey! I learned so many new aspects of the craft of knitting as well as areas of the knitting community. I can’t wait to try new techniques and new fibers in 2020. There’s still so much to learn! 2019 included working with my first indie-dyed yarn, first sweater (huge learning curve on my sweater journey from the start to the end of the year for me!), understanding yarn weight, nailing down a direction for my business that I’m passionate about, picking scarves back up and starting an in stock section of my shop. I love this hobby of mine and can’t wait to continue discovering all the new and developing facets within it!
2019 Knitting Journey
For my business:
Developed an “In Stock” section of my shop
Redesigned my website with a totally new template
Redesigned my logo ~ hello color!
Developed coordinating hat, headband and scarf sets
Set a new direction for my business that I’m crazy excited about focusing on luxury fibers and eco-friendliness!
My personal knitting journey:
Knit my first sweater, first cardigan, first raglan sweater, first top-up sweater in the round
Worked with my first indie-dyed yarn
Participated in my first ever knit-a-long
Completed my first blanket(s)!
Tried out so many new stitches!
*This isn’t an entire compilation of my knits because there’s an awesome website called Ravelry that is a great tool for makers to log their projects (and a resource to find many patterns). If you’re interested in more details, check you my Ravelry page here.
