And then there was the Final Four

All four No. 1 seeds reached the Elite Eight for the first time since 2009. But only of the top seeds managed to emerge on the other side. No. 1s Oregon, Kansas (25 percent of brackets in ESPN's Tournament Challenge selected Kansas to win it all) and Virginia all lost to their lower-seeded opponent. Virginia, in fact, fell to No. 10 seed Syracuse. Oregon and Kansas both fell to the 2nd seed in their respective region, Oklahoma and Villanova. UNC was the only top-seeded team to skate through to the Final Four, beating Notre Dame.

The next step for the Final Four teams is Houston, where they'll face off April 2.
