Father’s Day Small Shop Gift Guide

Can you believe it’s June already?? I most definitely cannot. What a year! (That’s an understatement.) My biggest hope for this summer is that I’m able to travel back to Illinois to spend time with my family. I haven’t seen them since January! In case I can’t be there for Father’s Day, though, I want to make sure my dad feels the love. We’ll video chat I’m sure, but I also spent some time looking for a meaningful Father’s Day gift and compiled a bunch of my favorite below, plus some gifts we’ve gotten for dad in the past. In the U.S., Father’s Day is June 21 this year. (BTW, clicking on any picture or the title will take you directly to the listing.)

A recipe to describe my dad:

Ingredients: A lot of baseball / Old Style beer / A pinch of fishing

How to: Turn the t.v. to ESPN or old sports game. Let sit for 4 hours. Move to the bar and try out a few new craft beers.

Once complete, fill up the bird feeder and watch birds (and any other animals) enjoy

I first discovered this small business a couple years ago at one of my brother’s baseball tournaments. I thought these mugs made out of the barrel of a baseball bat were so cool and especially perfect for my dad! We selected a Chicago White Sox mug (they’re available for all MLB teams) for dad a couple years ago and it came out just as pictured! I think the picture I included here is an even cooler concept - have your own picture engraved on the bat! It’s perfect for any baseball-loving dad. Styles include the traditional mug, wine and shot glasses.

This adorable book would be perfect for a dad with young kids. Personalize it with both the father’s and kids’ names. I think this idea is absolutely adorable for a new dad.

This is another gift we’ve gotten for dad in the past. I included the Mr. Fix It crate here (a great idea for extra tools your dad may want), but we actually got dad the Personalized Barware Crate, which was really cool because the glasses and accessories actually have his name on them. He still uses the coasters and glasses at his bar. They also actually come in a wood crate, which is extra fun and a mystery for dad to open!

This might be the strangest, most perfectly weird mix of a gift I’ve ever seen and I love it! This is a working bird feeder (behind the bar) and the sign and picture are both custom. This shop also features other themes for their bird feeders. Handcrafted in Colorado, this is so unique and such a one-of-a-kind idea!

My parents really like to try different beers when they’re out or at a brewery and with these we can bring the testing experience home! The flights are also customized and they fact that they come with the glasses takes out any extra work of finding glasses that fit. Handcrafted in Indiana.

Does your dad love to grill? This barbecue grilling set is perfect for him them! I love the engraving on it to make it extra special.

Another essential tool dad probably has laying around the house. But he can always use another hammer, right? (I think?) Nevertheless, this one is definitely sentimental as you engrave your specific Father’s Day saying on it for your dad.

Another baseball-themed gift, sorry we’re definitely a baseball family! But I think this is too cute, plus a child or adult who played catch with their dad can gift it to him, which makes it very versatile.

I’m not sure if my dad would wear this, but it’s cute and a funny gift for dad if he’s baseball hat wearer- mine is for sure!

Do you think your dad would love any of these items for Father’s Day? If you’d like some more ideas, Etsy’s editors rounded up their Father’s Day gift suggestions, too. I’d love to hear your thoughts on other gift suggestions. I hope you get to cook out and enjoy the day with your dad this Father’s Day!
