I’ve never been a huge fan of celebrating Valentine’s Day, probably because I was perpetually single until my mid-20’s, but I figured in 2021, if anything, it’s another excuse to support small businesses and decorate our homes with festive decor! So I went ahead and put together some of the cutest finds I saw on Etsy from small shops that are mostly U.S.-based. I also tried to single out shops with less than 1,000 sales to find the extra-small shops like mine. I’d love to hear how you like to decorate your home for Valentine’s Day.

My Quarantine mug for valentine's day

Chicago-based small shop and I love this witty and oh-so-relevant mug. I love the sassy line, “Blow a kiss from 6 feet away.”

This wall hanging/mobile features three hearts surrounded by two tassels, a pom and a string of smaller hearts with a loop at the top for ease when hanging to create the perfect cheerful decor. This decoration would be perfect in a little girl’s room, Valentine’s Day, or to decorate a classroom! Made from a mix of wool, cotton and acrylic yarns, I took advantage of small bits of yarn leftovers to create this piece of art.

I’m always a sucker for a corny play on words. Admittedly, these cards are exactly that, but I think they’re absolutely adorable!

What a cute ombre heart wreath! Two crafty friends founded this shop to share their crafty creations with you, including this intricate wreath.

I love following this artist on Instagram - I’m in awe of people that can draw because I can’t for the life of me! But I especially adore this illustration because Valentine’s Day doesn’t have to be all about your significant other, oftentimes it’s spent with your closest friends - many of my past Valentine’s Days were!

I thought I was only going to include decor on this list, but when this popped up I had to share! What a cute and unique idea for the music love in your life.

A cute heart doormat that you can leave on display all year long!

How cute and fun is this soap if you want to treat yourself or a friend on Valentine’s Day?!

These decorative mug cozies provide extra insulation to protect your hands from your hot coffee or tea, or just add a little extra pizazz to your mug or travel cup. This style features a heart to spread extra love throughout your day!

“Rare 1960s vintage children's Valentine card set, still sealed in package! From the estate of an 83-years-in-business drugstore in North Portland that closed November 2019.” - PenelopesHopeChest

These cute candles are a nice addition to your Valentine’s Day, especially in addition to the adorable soaps I listed above!

Another fun nature-inspired piece of decor to add to your home!
