With the transition from EB Knits to Bellchase Ruby, I can enjoy knitting and my other passions for me, with no pressure to produce for anyone or anything else. And, yet, I will be able to share my love of certain small businesses, share their products in my shop. And every once in a while, I might feel the urge to offer handmade items made by me, as well!

So I grabbed some thinner yarn scraps and tried out a different style: braid and fishtail bracelets. The first set of bracelets I made for myself and my boyfriend and he even liked it and asked for a few for his family! So I thought this may work.

I’ve never had a sun hat, but have always admired them and now that I’ve been crocheting more and more, I decided I was finally ready to tackle a sun hat. I absolutely love how it turned out, too! I used raffia yarn for this project, which is actually sustainable and biodegradable and made from wood fibers.
